Photodance - Retrospective Dance Photography Show and Auction

Part of the 20 year anniversary celebrations for the Suzanne Dellal Centre. A retrospective photo exhibition documenting the history of Israeli Dance, followed by a unique auction that will be conducted by Simon de Pury, its earnings going to the advancement of young Israeli dance.

The exhibition will present documentation of the creators and the unforgettable dance acts that were staged in the Suzanne Dellal Centre since its establishment up until present day, through the lenses of Israel’s leading photographers and artists. The exhibition will include portraits of dancers at work, rehearsal photos, Pictures that were taken during shows, staged photo shootings and more.

The exhibition will be hosted in the Suzanne Dellal Centre and will conclude in an auction which will be conducted by Simon de Pury, on the night of Sept 8th, 2009. All earnings of this sale will be made for the advancement of Israeli creation an. d creators in the field of Dance

Among the Photographers who will take part in the exhibition are: Gadi Dagon, Michal Hayman, Li Yanor, Vardi Kahana, Tamar Lam, Eyal Landsman, Pnina Even-Tal, Emmanuel Ogdan, Askaf, Amit Berlovich, Cfir Bolotin, Ran Biran, Adi Mazan, Itay Marom, Avi Nathan, Daniel Chechik, Ron Kedmi and more.

Among the Dancers and the creators who’s photographs will be exhibited are: Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, Ido Tadmor, Rena Sheinfeld, Renana Raz, Inbal Pinto, Nir Ben Gal and Liat Dror and more.
