Toony Navok

Toony Navok (b. 1974, Tel Aviv) lives and works in Tel Aviv. She studied at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design's MFA program (2008-2009) and engages in sculpture, installation, and drawing.
Navok's works have been shown at Neues Museum, Weimar; Haifa Museum of Art, Art Cologne's "New Positions" category for emerging artists; ArtTLV_09: the 2nd Tel Aviv-Yafo Biennial; lokal_30 gallery, Warsaw; The Center for Contemporary Art (CCA), Tel Aviv; Sara Asperger Gallery, Berlin; The 1st Herzliya Biennial of Contemporary Art, Israel; Rosenfeld Gallery, Tel Aviv.
Navok has received the America-Israel Cultural Foundation grant (2000 & 2001), and the Bezalel Excellency Grant (2009).
Navok is co-editor and co-publisher (with Adi Englman and Meir Kordevani) of Picnic, an image-based magazine. Together with Picnic Magazine editorial team, she co-curated the 2nd Herzliya Biennial (2009).
