Hillel Roman

Born 1975, Hillel Roman lives and works in Tel Aviv. Roman is a graduate of Hamidrasha Art School, where he currently teaches. He also holds a B.A. in comparative literature from Tel Aviv University, and received an M.F.A. from Goldsmiths College, London.
Recent solo shows include "Observatory" at Hertzliya Bienneial (2009), "Kingdom" at Bat Yam Museum for Contemporary Art (2009). Roman's work has been shown at Hertzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Dvir Gallery, Tel Aviv, the Center for Contemporary Art, Tel Aviv, Sara Asperger Gallery, Berlin, and Städtische Galerie, Bremen.
Hillel Roman is represented by Dvir Gallery, Tel Aviv.
