Kaiser and Neustein will discuss the exhibition Ends of the Earth: Land Art to 1974, the first large-scale, historical exhibition to deal broadly with Land art. The talk will focus on this important conceptual moment from the early 1970s in Israel when many artists began to leave institutions to work outdoors. In addition to Neustein, works by Israeli artists Pinchas Cohen-Gan, Micha Ullman, and Avital Geva are also included. Ends of the Earth places these Israeli artists for the first time within the global context of Land art. Open through September 3.
